"An Adventure of Faith"
Kevin Dzuban | USA

I can think of no greater use for the comic medium than to honor God and reveal scriptural truth. Thankfully, the folks at COMIX35 have made it easier to do this with the International Christian Comics Competition.

I am honored to have won 1st place in the professional division of this second competition, especially with so many talented people competing. I consider all of my successes in life as due to God and all of my failures as due to my own weaknesses – I am, therefore, very thankful to God for this particular success, and pray that it will contribute to His kingdom in ways beyond this venue. I also pray that all of the competitors, regardless of where they have placed, will be blessed in some way for having contributed their names, talents and time to this endeavor.

I would love to see this competition continue to grow and prosper in scope and influence as time passes. With the creative ablilities and love of spreading the word that I have seen thus far, it's hard to imagine otherwise. May God be willing and make it so.

Amateur Division:
1st Prize of US$ 800.00

"Book of the Solutions"
Fernando "Gade" | BRAZIL

I didn't hope to win the competition ... it was a surprise. I just wanted to share the story with people everywhere. I thank the Lord Jesus. I believe that each one who participated in the competition was a winner for being part of the beautiful on-line exhibition, and it was very gratifying to see my work exposed beside so many talented artists of the whole world. I thank COMIX35 for accomplishing that amazing work uniting the world family of comic creators. God worked through each one of us. I'm very happy to be part of that, and I salute all my storyteller brothers. Be blessed!

Professional Division: 2nd Place
''Cranky Bob's Sheep Parable'' Matt Baker | Australia
I am disgusted that a comic like mine would make it into the top list, considering the high calibre of all the entries; there is obviously blatant favouritism towards any comic containing cactuses. Despite this, I'm grateful for the opportunity to show 'Cranky Bob' to a wider audience and hope to create many more non-adventures involving the cantankerous cactus in the future.
Professional Division: 3rd Place
"Safe Landing" Ben Hartnett | Australia
To be a place-getter in this second competition is a good feeling ... the best thing will still be to have a copy of the book. Parts of the previous one were a help to me at certain times in my own journey, and this book looks to be even better again.
Amateur Division: 2nd Place
"The Greatest Witness" Ami "Gypsy" Waite | USA
Amateur Division: 3rd Place
"Tattie: The Lost Child" Darwin "Tohru" Tan | Australia
Wow! Actually I never thought I would be on the third place ... I want to thank you GOD because he guided me thoroughly to write this story and I am really grateful because I enjoyed the whole process.
